Michelle Moss's Pregnancy Without Pounds Kit

People always go on and on about what a beautiful thing pregnancy is that sometimes we forget about just how ugly it can get.  Unless you are one of the lucky few that has glowing skin and basically just puts on “baby weight”, then chances are that you may feel bloated and unattractive- but you don’t have to be.  There are a lot of fitness programs that are especially designed for the pregnant woman but Pregnancy Without Pounds by Michelle Moss has certainly gotten a lot of hype.

Instead of ordering it merely out of its popularity, here are a couple of things about this pregnancy kit that you should know about to make sure that you really do get your time and your money’s worth.  Remember that just because it works for one person does not mean that it will work for you.  So here it is ladies, everything from the good to the bad, from one consumer to another.

Let’s start with who actually wrote the book, Michelle Moss, and why should you follow and listen to what she has to say.  Basically, there are two main facts that build up her credibility.  First is that she is a health and nutrition coach.  So this means that she really does know what she is talking about.  I mean hey, that is what she does for a living after all.  Second is that this is actually based on her very own experience of not only staying fit during pregnancy but also succeeding in losing the weight after.  However, you are probably thinking that of course she was able to do it since she was fit right from the get go.  But then again, there are also tons and tons of happy and satisfied women too who have tried out her program.  Let’s see if you will be one of them.

Pregnancy Without Pounds is basically an 80 plus page ebook that is made up of six chapters.  So that is basically one of the nice things about it- it isn’t too long that is may seem like it will take you forever to read through, but at the same time, it isn’t too short that you may feel like it doesn’t have all of the stuff you need to know.  You could say that it is just right-  it is detailed and comprehensive, but not the boring type.  It was written in such a way that won’t have you yawning or scratching your head either.  Plus, even the layout is pretty appealing to women- highlights in pink and baby blue.  There are even a couple of “fun facts” throughout the book that you may find amusing.

This ebook will also go into what kind of diet you should have-it has a list of everything you should and should not eat.  Although your doctor has most probably already briefed you on this and some seem to stating the obvious, such as to avoid sugary foods and alcohol, other things on the list may be total eye openers, like not to eat cold rice- plus it even comes with an explanation too.  Another nice thing too about this chapter is that it will even give you a breakdown of how many calories you should gain, what extra nutrients you should have, and where you can get it including the amount.  Plus, even the way for you to measure food is very practical, like instead of actually weighing it, you can compare the amount to everyday objects- like the amount of vegetables should be as big as your fist.

One of the most attractive chapters is probably the one that is all about, well, being attractive, even when you are pregnant.  What woman wouldn’t want that?  You will find everything from taking care of your body, to your skin, and even fashion tips to help you out.  However, you must understand that some of these tips only REDUCE and not RID, such as cellulite. This will not give you a solution that will magically eliminate any trace of it at all.

This kit comes with an exercise manual too.  Actually, the great thing about this is that it actually features three different workouts for you to choose from- you have the Tired Mama routine, the Moderate Mama routine, and the Fit Mama routine.  Based on the names alone, you can already guess the level of each and find the perfect one for you.

The instructions are relatively easy to follow, however, people who do not really work out may find some a bit confusing at first.  There are pictures that come with each exercise, but the thing is, it only shows the initial position.  It would have been much better if there were pictures that show the different positions in each single exercise too.  One more thing is that unless you have your very own exercise equipment at home, you may have to do some of the workouts at the gym.  Some you may even run out and buy like a yoga mat or those big round balls, but not everyone can afford pullies or those huge weight machines.

Aside from that, to keep you on track, this kit also comes with an exercise journal and a weight gain chart manager- so that is a pretty good way to see your progress and see how far along you have come.  Those are two pretty neat bonuses that you get.

All in all, you do have to remember that the Pregnancy Without Pounds kit does require hard work and dedication- just like any other fitness program.    A few slips here and there won’t really hurt.  This is designed for a pregnant woman after all and we all know how those mood swings work.  However, an exercise schedule and a proper diet should be kept and followed to get the desired results.
